The 35th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats (Berne Convention) was held in Strasbourg, France, from 1 to 4 December 2015.
The main objective of the Convention is to conserve Europe’s wild flora and fauna and their natural habitats, especially those that require the cooperation of several states.
The INCDPM team participated in this meeting together with delegations from 51 contracting parties, including the European Union, observer states, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations, as well as independent experts.
During this meeting, the INCDPM team stood out by presenting a unique European volume of information on sturgeon migration routes.
